LACIS

Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies Program

Graduate Programs

LACIS offers three options for students pursuing a Graduate degree. The M.A. in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies is an interdisciplinary program requiring a concentration, work outside the concentration, and language proficiency. The dual MA/JD degree is a unique option which allows students to complete both degrees in a minimum of seven semesters by cross-counting courses. The PhD minor presents an option for advanced graduate students in other departments to pursue work in Latin America outside their PhD major.
