Current Work: My work is mainly related to environmental history and political ecology. I am also interested in history of science and technology in the Amazon. Part of my recent research is related to armed conflict and peace in Colombia. My main areas for research are Latin America and the Amazon, however, I use to compare my regions with the U.S. UW libraries are wonderful for me, due to they help me a lot for my review articles. Some people look for me in different institutions due to my connection with UW. I can make connections with UW professors, working in subjects closed to my research interest.
