LACIS is proud to announce the establishment of a new fund: “Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies Department General Fund”. Contributions to this new account will allow LACIS to fund two different programs: Undergraduate Internships and Study Abroad and Graduate Research Grants. The first program benefits current undergraduate students who undertake internships and study abroad programs in Latin America, the Caribbean, the Iberian Peninsula or domestic internships related to the LACIS field of study. The second program provides graduate students economic assistance to conduct research mainly abroad.
We encourage all alumni and members of the community who are interested in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Iberian Peninsula to contribute generously to this most valuable fund.
