Sarah Ripp worked as the Assistant Director for the Latin American, Caribbean & Iberian Studies Program (LACIS) between 2008 and 2016. Between 2016 and 2019, she was employed as the Assistant Director for Programming and Communication with the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) at UW-Madison. 

In May 2019, she returned to LACIS to begin her current position as Academic Services and Programming Manager.

Within this role, she is responsible for providing academic advising to LACIS undergraduate students, as well as general administrative support to LACIS graduate students. In addition, she develops on campus programming for the center while engaging in community and K-12 educational outreach.

Sarah also administers LACIS’ social media, marketing, and communications efforts.

She lives in a small community north of Madison with her husband and three young children. She enjoys yoga, sewing, traveling, playing golf, working with her son on genealogy pursuits, reading travel memoirs, helping with her family’s beehives, and organizing parties.
