Each year, LACIS allocates funds to International Academic Programs (IAP), through its Nave grant, in order to support study abroad in the LACIS region.
Undergraduate student, Madeline Wellman, who is working on degrees in psychology and social welfare, was recently awarded a Nave grant to study in Costa Rica during the 2023 winter intersession; and undergraduate student Erin Wruk, who is working on a degrees in political science, Spanish, as well as certificates in gender and women’s studies and public policy, will be studying in Argentina with support from the Nave funding.
