Michael Apple, John Bascom Professor Emeritus of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Policy Studies, and Holly Gibbs, Gaylord A. Nelson Distinguished Chair in Integrated Environmental Studies and Professor of Environmental Studies, were honored for their outstanding contributions to scholarship and public life.
